Universal Prayer for Peace & Prosperity prescribed in the Veda is recited at the end of all Hindu rituals and ceremonies,  a prayer for the well being of all the living and non-living entities on the Earth.   Veda insists to pray to Almighty to provide all the goodness to the King who is ruling the City for the welfare of its people and for being impartial towards his subjects, pray to Lord for showering his blessings in everyday life of Cows and the Vedic Brahmins.  Also shower his grace on all the living beings on Earth.

Veda proclaims to pray to Almighty for timely and plentiful monsoon, so that the Earth will be loaded with rich plant life and flourish with rich natural resources in order to eradicate famine, let the virtuous people live without any trepidation.  Let the sonless blessed with virtuous progeny and live a blissful life with their children and grandchildren.  Let the rich and poor live for several years and witness the hundreds of autumn.  Let all the human and non-human enjoy all the pleasures, let everyone have a life without illnesses, let everyone feels protected and no one has grief or sorrows prevailed.  Le the comfort, peace, prosperity and auspicious things prevails in the entire Universe.
