In this verse, Sri Andal
describes the celebrated birth of Lord Krishna as the son of Devaki &
Vasudeva and transformed himself as the son of Yasodha & Nandagopa within a
few hours of day break in order to protect the new born from the clutches of
Kamsa who was alarmed at the birth of the eighth child that would take his life
away and mercilessly killed the seven children of Devaki & Vasudeva. Moreover, Kamsa’s fear for life provoked him
to assign as many demons to kill the divine child of Yasodha always remained a
terror of life to Kamsa. Sri Andal and
the young maidens arrived in the early hours of dawn reveals their purpose of
the rituals to attain Him, the consort of Sri Mahalakshmi and it would
eradicate all the grief and bestow with eternal bliss.
