In this verse, Sri Andal’s
salutation to the various magnificent incarnations of Lord Vishnu as Lord
Vamana/Trivikrama , a dwarf preceded to the sacrificial fire arena of King
Mahabali and measured the three worlds
with His tiny footsteps, Lord Rama who
vanquished the demon King Ravana of Lanka and reinstated the righteousness,
Lord Krishna who defeated Shakatasura/demon appeared in the form of
wheel of a cart with His horrifying kick and the celebrated form of Lord
Krishna as Govardhana who lifted the mighty mount Govardhan effortlessly on his
little finger, incessantly for seven days to protect the entire Ayarpadi from
the heavy downpour. Sri Andal praises
the glories of Lord Krishna who holds the spear to protect His cattle and
staunch devotees from peril. Sri Andal
and the young maidens assembled in the early hours of dawn reveals their
purpose of singing and praising the glories of Lord and earnestly request to
shower His benevolence.
