In this verse, Sri Andal and the
young maiden arrived in the early hours of dawn enquires Lord Krishna about the
pre-requisites for the Markazhi rituals being observed in the banks of Yamuna,
further she placed their requirements
before Lord Krishna, white conch that has the close resemblance of Panchajanyam
of Lord which reverberates the divine sound in the whole universe, percussions
like drums and cymbals used for procession, musicians to sing praising the
glories of Lord /Pallandu, earthen lamps to carry while marching towards the
banks of Yamuna, sacred flags to reveal their purpose of journey and a marvelous set to protect them. Sri Andal requests Lord Krishna if He has
nothing to meet their requirements, provide them with the banyan tree leaves
that would serve their purpose of Markazhi rituals.
