Tulsidas preceded his divine work of spreading the glories of Lord Rama and inspired people with his Bakthi cult in the holy land of Varanasi.  In the meantime, thieves entered  in his hut during the night hours to pilfering the great epic ‘Sri Ramacharita Manas’,  to their utter amazement there found two young boys, one in blue complexion and another in white, with bows and arrows in their hands were guarding the scripture.  The thieves were horrified and ran off from the place without accomplishing their task, shortly it was informed to Tulsidas.  Tulsidas shed tears of joy at the compassion of Lord Rama and realized the truth that the guards were none other than Lord Rama and Lakshmana.

There was another incident affirms the firm devotion of Tulidas, after morning ablutions he used to pour the remaining water at the base of Banyan tree, in that way Tulsidas reduced the pain and agony of the spirit lived in there.   As a mark of gratitude, the spirit enquired about the unending wishes in his life.   Tulsidas immediately revealed his desire for the Dharshan of Lord Sri Ram.  The spirit informed Tulsidas about an old man who used to visit the place where Tulsidas’ spiritual discourses being held and He was the first to attend his preachings and the last to leave while the soul stirring discourse takes place about the glories of Lord Rama.   Tulsidas identified the old man and fell on his feet, who  will possibly be the old man other than Lord Anjaneya himself?

Tulsidas arrived in Chitrakoot and spent rest of his life in serving Lord Sri Rama at the divine instructions of Lord Anjaneya.  He sincerely occupied in oration about the perpetual glories of Lord Rama and distributing the sandal paste to the devotees.  One day Lord Rama himself present before Tulsidas and asked for the sandal paste.  At the breathtaking sight  Tulsidas attained Samadhi.   The most compassionate Lord applied sandal paste on the forehead of Tulsidas.
