Avirbooya Nrusimhena Sa Cha Brahmadhibisthutha:”
Srimad Bhagavatham – Sapthama Skandham – Chapter Eight describes the glory of Sri Narasimha the Fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu as Half-lion and Half-man.
Prahalada was learning under his Guru Shukracharya. In the absence of his Guru, Prahalada taught the glory of Lord Sri Hari to the children assembled. The children from the demon families turned into devotees of Lord Sri Hari after listening to Prahalada, later they discarded the teachings of their Guru. After seeing the impulsive transformation in the children in the ‘Gurukul’, the son of Shukracharaya worried and informed the King Hiranyakashipu. The King decided to kill his son Prahalada at his demeanor.
Hiranyakashipu in a fuming rage commanded his men to produce Prahalada in front of the Assembly. His dreadful look did not make any changes in Prahalada. Instead, he prostrated his father with respect, holding his hands together stood before him. Hiranyakashipu ill-treated him and continued to hurt him with harsh words and acts.
Prahalada gracefully answered back to his father that, The Supreme Lord is the strength of You and Me. He is worshipped by Lord Brahma and all the deities, He is the knower of All, He is the Controller of the Universe. He possesses all the virtues, He possesses control over the senses, He is ‘Sudhha Swathik’ in nature. He is the one performing the responsibilities’ as Creator, Preserver and Destroyer.
After listening to Prahalada, his father got confused even more. He replied ‘ He is my enemy. So How he can be my strength?’.
