Jai Sriman Narayana!!
Chod dhiya Vaikundha Sukha Oh Hari Chod Dhiya
Kabir Das asks , "Why did Lord Vishnu leave His Abode Sri Vaikundham?".
Kabir Das says Lord Hari left Vaikundham and His comforts in order to protect us from the clutches of material world. Everyone cannot learn Veda and understand the meaning and depth of it, moreover it is not an easy task to follow the prescribed rules in Veda Sastra and apply them in individual life. All these divine scriptures talk about the supremacy of Lord; in the same manner Hari Nama Sankeerthanam/Hari Nama Smaran also praises the glory of Lord.
In Maharashtra – the zealous devotees like Mukata Bai, Jyaneshwar, Eknath, Kamapatra, Gorakumbar, Namadev, Thukkaram and many were constantly engaged in worshipping Lord Hari with Nama Sankeerthanam in Marati language. Alternatively Meerabai, Kabir Das, Brahmananda were praised the glories of Lord in their mother tongue Hindi. But, Kanaka Dasar, Panduranga Dasar, Saint Tyagaraja all were praised Lord in their mother tongue Kannada. Narasi Mehta praised the glory of Lord in Gujarati. The language was not at all a barrier to worship Lord, it can be different but the objective was the same. All were devotedly engaged in praising the glory of Lord and spreading the glories of it in their own language.
Sri Marthanallur Swamigal was lived in a village called Thiruvisnallur in the District of Tanjore. His yeomen efforts to spread the Hari Nama Sakeerthanam was unparallel, he introduced Dakshina Bhajana Sampradaya. He travelled extensively from Kanyakumari to Mount Kailash and pioneered the Dakshina Bajana Sampradaya incorporating all the compositions of poets from different states of India and introduced refined form of Dakshina Bhajana Sampradaya Padhhathi. Later, Sri Haridas Giri Guruji publicized the significance of Hari Nama Sankeerthanam through his number of stunning lectures and Bhajans educated us that it is a need for hour in this Kaliyuga and persuaded every individual to carry out Sampradaya Bhajans/ Hari Nama Sankeerthanam very often and avail the blessings of Lord and attain the highest of the pieties known as Salvation.
Jai Sriman Narayana !!
