Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, after witnessing the liberation of the demon
Aghasura, Lord Brahma decided to conduct a test of your powers that was not seen
in other incarnations of you.
Consequently, Lord Brahma made the cowherds and the cattle invisible by
utilizing his powers of illusion.
Oh!
Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, cowherds were anxiously reported to you about the instantaneous
absence of the cattle. You have left the
scene with the half eaten ball of rice in hand; in fact you made it easier for
Lord Brahma to carry out his mission, who causes nonappearance of the cowherds
while they were having meals.
Oh!
Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, You have assumed the forms of cowherds and cattle
adorned with stick, flute and vessels with your illusionary powers. These cowherds were played in the woods for
long time till in the evening and returned to Vrajabhumi.
Oh!
Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, You were in the forms of cowherd and cattle were
received by the mother’s of the children and Gopikas with great pleasure and
affection.
Oh!
Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, In some of
the ‘ Jeeva’ due to their extreme sense of Abhiman/sense of ‘I’ causes the
sense of attachment. Therefore, Gopikas
have attained abundance of happiness and affection from you as their son and
cows as well.
Oh!
Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, In this way, the people of Vraja served your
various forms for an year and soaked themselves in extreme happiness. Even your brother Balarama did not realize
the truth, although you two are the nature of Brahmam, you are truly
exceptional from all.

Supeme Lord Guruvayurappa, An year has passed, Lord Brahma was mystified as he
could not differentiate the real cowherds and cattle from the one you have
created from your illusion, eventually you have revealed him all those newly
created set of cowherds and cattle in your real nature in dark cloud
complexioned, four arms, adorned with Makudam/crown, Angadha/armlets and
various ornaments.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa,
Kamalabhu/Lotus born Brahma has witnessed a magnificent form you in
reclining posture/Yoganidra on the King of serpent/Adishesha, caressed by Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi and
surrounded by the great sages like Sanaka and others.
Oh!
Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Lord Brahma witnessed numerous forms of Lord
Narayana and himself as an obedient servant of him. In a moment he was besieged by illusion,
instantly you have assumed the form of child of Vrajabhumi with a half eaten
ball of rice in hand.
Oh!
Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, In this way Lord Brahma’s pride was trampled, he
prostrated before you and eulogized your glories and left to his
Abode/Sathyaloka. Oh! Vibho, you have pleasingly
returned to Vrajabhoomi with the cowherds and cattle. Oh! Vathalayadhipa, we earnestly pray to
eradicate our ailments.
