Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, once in the early hours of morning, you have left with the children of Vraja and with their cattle, decided to spend some time in the woodland, Oh! Esha,  They carried loads of eatables and cooked rice with them.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, The great sages witnessed that sight of you while leaving to the woodland, Oh! Vibho, whose lotus feet are destined to sanctify the three worlds and the dust from the lotus feet that was used to smear the bodies of great sages, which provides immense bliss.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Oh! Vibho, while the cattle were grazing on the rich green land, suddenly a horrendous demon Aghasura in the form of dreadful python appeared before you and obstructed your way with an evil intention.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Aghasura had a mountain like body and cave like wide opened mouth, the children mistook the appearance of Aghasura, further with an extreme curiosity to explore the woods, they were went inside the mouth of Aghasura, while you were at the forefront of them.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, The cowherds with their cattle wrongly entered inside the stomach of the snake were felt the immense heat, Oh! Prabho, you also entered the cave like mouth of the python in order to protect the helpless associates of you.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, You have settled on the throat of the python and increased the size of your body, which thwarted the flow of air.   The python moved violently in extreme pain, you have ripped off its neck and in this way you have released the cowherds and the cattle.
Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Instantly a brilliance rose into the sky from the body of the phython and soon it merged with you.  The deities who were witnessing the sight from the sky were danced in supreme bliss and eulogized your glories.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Lord Brahma and the deities who were witnessing the sight from the sky followed you with great admiration.  It was in the afternoon; you have left with the children of Vraja and wonderfully celebrated the festival of meal.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, The deities were pleasingly watched the glorious sight of you, holding stick and flue tucked on the waist, carrying a ball of rice on your lotus like hand and stir up laughter among the children by humorous talks and consuming the meal.  The deities were eulogized your glories.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, the deities praised you, stated that the meal consumed with the children of Vraja was extremely pleasant to you; it was more satisfying than the offerings made to the sacrificial fire was received amidst the deities.  Oh! Jagathpathey, Oh! Maruthpurinilaya, we earnestly pray to protect us from all  ailments.
