Protection of Gokulam from the forest fire & Rithuvarnanam – Srimad Narayaneeyam / Srimad Bhagavatham !! Lyrics & Its meanings.

Jai Sriman Narayana !!

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, You were caught up in the middle of destruction of the demon Pralamba and after that immersed in playing with the cowherds.  In the meantime, the cattle were moved further due to the keenness of searching for grass land and eventually they entered in the woods of Aishika.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Vrindavan was remained unexposed to the summer heat; the cattle moved out of this land were reached on the other end of the forest that was blazing with the excruciating summer heat.   The cattle were stood motionless due to the unbearable heat and exhaustion added with the pain of separation from you.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Oh! Shourey, you have engaged in the rigorous search of the cattle with all your associates and ultimately lost your path, you have arrived in the Muncha woods where you could witness some of the cows in danger, while you went near them to save, alas! Instantly a bushfire broke out and spread through entire the land.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Shortly the blaze spread the entire woods with raucous noises, obstructing the path ways to escape, consequently the cowherds and the cattle were trapped inside and besieged by the wild fire.  They cried out for help saying “Oh! Bhuvanabandho, protect us from our sorrows.”

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, You have instructed them to close their eyes to protect themselves from the wild fire; they sincerely followed your instruction, Oh! What an amazing act, instantly they realized themselves on the serene land of Mandeera.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, You were praised by the cowherds in chorus “Victory to you! Victory to you! Oh! Esha, unfailing glory to your miraculous act”, you have engaged in various sports with them, roaming on the other end of the woods and there was only the blooming flower bunches of Padaladhi reminded them the presence of summer.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Whoever apathetic to you would feel the extreme agony of heat and whoever praises your glories would feel the coolness, due to the flow of brilliance from your two arms.  Eventually you have spent the entire summer on the river banks of Yamuna.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Your dark cloud like complexioned marvelous body attired in magnificent yellow garment which spreads radiance and ultimate happiness to the people of the Universe, spent the entire rainy season sporting at your will in the mountain caves.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Mount Govardhana felt highly honored by your eternal presence, it praised your glories with the soft sounds of peacocks,   Oh! Deva, mount Govardhana venerated you with the heap of flowers of Kudaja and Kadhamba.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, The spring season has arrived, watercourses were streaming with pure water like the mind of your devotees.  You have spent the most amazing moments in the woods, leaving the cattle happily graze in the lush green land.  Oh! Pavanapurapathey, we earnestly pray to provide us unfailing health.
