Pralambasura Vadham – Srimad Narayaneeyam / Srimad Bhagavatham !! Lyrics & Its Meanings

Jai Sriman Narayana !!

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Oh!Bhgavan/ Varada, who bestows boons, you have attired in splendid clothes and  went with Balarama into the woodland,  Gopas  and their cattle were sincerely followed you.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, you have delightfully narrated the unblemished beauty of Vrindavan to Balaram and the children, and playfully moved with them to a banyan tree/Bhandeerakam

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurapa, Suddenly a wicked demon Pralamba who was desired your death, come into sight in the guise of a Gopa, approached you with his long arms.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, You have made association with the demon Prablamba, as if you are unaware of his intentions.  Shortly, you have arranged a wrestling game was begun with all those skilled cowherds near the banyan tree.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, the cowherds were divided into two groups led by you and Balarama respectively.  Soon the demon Pralamba who was certain about your powers, decided to join in your team was generously approved by you.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, before the initiation of the game, a rule was announced that the victorious in the game should be carried Shridhama by the people who lost in the game. Oh! Bhakthapradheena, you have carried the victorious Shridhama, in this way you have exposed to the world that you are always at the service of your passionate devotees.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Oh! Vibhooman,  In this way many of the cowherds were carried and being carried.  In the meantime, Pralamba was defeated by Balarama was carried and disappeared from the sight to create trepidation in you.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Balarama was realized that he was being carried far from the sight of everyone, instantly increased his weight with his divine powers.  Immediately, the demon Pralamba assumed his real appalling form that was put Balarama in a state of terror.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, demon Pralamba assumed a huge form, therefore Balarama could not recognize you from the distance.  Soon Balarama conquered all his fear at your presence; he trampled the demon Pralamba with a strong bang with his fist.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Balarama triumphantly returned to you after vanquishing the demon Pralamba and embraced you.  The deities were showered flowers upon both of you.

Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Oh! Hare, who has the splendor like black bee, you have carried out the eradication of the demon Pralamba without any delay for the welfare of the Universe.  We earnestly pray to eradicate all our ailments/sufferings at a fast pace.
