Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, instantly
a massive dark cloud appeared on the sky was spreading all over the Vrajabhumi,
flash of lightning which has the
brilliance of Supreme Lord followed by the deafening noise of crash of thunder
caused tremor on the Earth.
Oh Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa ! Heavy
downpour was begun accompanied by enormous hailstorm; the cowherds were in a wretched
state due to the wrathful action of Lord Indra, they cried loudly to save
them. Oh! Supreme Lord, you have
pacified them after listening to their cries.
Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, replied
with asmile “ Mount Govardhana is the deity of clan of Vrajabhumi, Lord Indra
is the enemy of Mount Govardhana and it will confront the attack of Lord Indra,
there is no doubt in it.” Oh! Supreme
Lord Guruvayurappa, immediately you have uprooted the mountain Govardhana with
your tender arms.
Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa,
Mount Govardhana was held high on your lotus like upper limb, all the cowherds
with their belongings gathered under the Mount Govardhana, eventually the upper
part of the soft sand bed of the mountain well protected the cowherds from the
torrential rain.
Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, while
holding the Mount Govardhana, the cowherds gathered of your age group was
engaged in playful conversations, you caressed the cows assembled around you
with one hand and the cowherds were extremely blissful.
Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa,
Gopas assembled were commented on your might saying “It’s marvelous, He is
lifting the colossal mount Govardan on his left hand like a lotus stalk for so
long or was that the power of Mount Govardan elevated up by itself ? ”
Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa,
Lord Indra thought that the arrogant little boy will put down the Mount
Govardan on it place when his hands starts paining. Thus, Lord Indra with all vengeance continued
pouring heavily for another seven days.
Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa,
you have not moved an inch from the place, clouds were drained by over pouring,
and rain water were drifted and dried up by the wind. Lord Indra, King of deities noticed your
valor and got scared, eventually he ran off from the place.
Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa,
heavy rain has stopped; cows and cowherds came out of the Mount Govardana. Oh! Supreme Lord, you have placed the
colossal mount Govardana on Earth, the entire cowherd assembled were rushed towards
you and embraced.
Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa,
Oh! Kamalapathey, consort of Lakshmi, all the deities praised your valor,
eulogized the incarnation of you as giant boar that had lifted the Universe, so
lifting the Mount Govardan was not a difficult task for you at all. Oh! Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, I earnestly
pray to protect us from illnesses.
