Pitrusthalam/Mukthisthalam famous for performing homage to ancestors. The Sthalapuranam of this temple affirms that
one Brahmin brought his deceased father’s remnants and surprisingly it turned into
Kondrai flower the moment he landed on this sacred place.
This temple remains open from
6.00 AM to 12.00 PM in the morning and 4.00PM to 8.00PM in the evenings.
