Madhyama Jagannatha Perumal Temple is one of the Abhiman Kshetram located in
Thirumazhisai, Chennai. The temple inscription reveals its existence
from the date back to 12th century.
Puri is referred as Uthara Jagannatha Kshetram, Thirupullani as Dakshina
Jagannatha Kshetram and Thirumazhisai as Madhyama Jagannatha Kshetram.

This is the birth place of Thirumazhisai Alwar, one of the prominent
