Namakkal Sri Narasimha Swamy Temple/Trimurthi Sthalam is one of the Abhimana Kshetram of Lord Vishnu as Lord Narasimha located in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu.  This is one of the oldest temples built during the 8^th century by the King Mahendra Varman of Pallava Dynasty.

Presiding deity – Lord Narasimha with his consort Goddess Sri  Namagiri Thayar / Mahalakshmi/ Sri Namagiri Lakshmi along with Sanakadis, Lord Surya, Lord Chandra, Lord Brahma & Lord Shiva.

Festivals – Sri Nrusimha Jayanti, Krithikai, Hanumath Jayanti, Vaikunda Ekadashi, Markazhi Utsavam, Panguni Utsavam, Adi Pooram, Sri Krishna Jayanti, Sri Rama Navami, Vaikasi Visakam,

Sannidhis – A massive statue of Lord Anjaneya, stunning sculptures of Lord Vamana, Sri Lakshmi Varah,a, Sankara Narayana Sri Ranganatha, Abhaya Narasimha, Ugra Narasimha Lord Brahma, Lord Narayana, Lord Shiva, Lord Chandra, Lord Surya, Goddess Boodevi, Sage Markandeya on the pillars in the Mandapam positioned here.

The legend has that Lord Anjaneya was performing the task of placing back the Sanjeevini Hill at Mount Kailash.  On his way back found a remarkable Salagrama on the river Gandaki.  This was carried by Lord Anjaneya and placed near the Kamalaya Theertham where Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi was undergoing severe penance.  Soon, Lord Anjaneya brusquely went to perform ablutions.   After coming back, he put all his strength to lift the Salagrama from the ground.  Surprisingly, it was permanently glued to the ground.   Instantaneously Lord Narasimha provided dharshan before Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi and Lord Anjaneya.   Shortly, a divine voice instructed Lord Anjaneya to be right back after performing the duties assigned by Lord Rama.   In this temple, a massive statue of Lord Anjaneya can be seen worshipping Lord Narasimha.

This temple remains open from 7.00 AM to 1.00 PM in the morning and 4.00PM to 8.00PM in the evenings.
