Sri Radha Ashtami !!

.Jai Sriman Narayana !!
Radhey Krishna !!

Sri Radha Ashtami falls on the shukla Paksha Ashtami in the month Bhadrapad.  This festival commemorates the birth of Sri Radha Rani celebrated with great splendor and utmost devotion in Vrindavan, Brahmagiri, Barsana, Mathura and many temples of Sri Radha Krishna through the length and breadth of India and Abroad as well.   Worship of Sri Radha Rani along with Sri Krishna, Fasting on this day, listening and chanting the glories of Sri Radha Krishna would bring abundance of pieties.   Sri Radha Rani is the soul and female form and spiritual energy of Lord Krishna should be worshipped along with Him who provides perpetual happiness and devoutness in the life on Earth and Heaven as well .
The birth of Sri Radha Rani describes in the Puranas as King Vrishabanu was while passing through the sacred lands of Manasrovar found a small baby girl on the Lotus in the day of Shukla Paksha Ashtami.  King Vrishabanu and Queen Kirti brought up the lovely baby girl and named her Radha affectionately.   It is believed that Sri Radha Rani was older than Krishna and an incarnation of Sri Mahalakshmi.   Her soul rousing affection towards Krishna was described by great poets and in many sacred scriptures reveals the perpetual union of Jeevathma (Sri Radha Rani) with Paramatma (Sri Krishna).  Whenever Lord incarnates on the Earth to re-establish the righteousness, He was always followed by the female spiritual force – Sri Mahalakshmi, likewise  Lord Sri Rama with Goddess  Sita, Lord Sriman Narayana with Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi and Lord Sri Krishna with Goddess Sri Radha Rani.

Radhey Krishna !!
Jai Sriman Narayana !!
