Yogamaya descended to
Earth in order to carry out the instructions of Lord Vishnu. Initially,
she extracted the child from the Devaki’s womb and placed safely it on the
Rohini’s. So it made a wrong impression that Devaki had a
miscarriage and lost her child. Kamsa heaved a sigh of relief that he
need not worry about his life once again.
As an initial
process to descending on the Earth, Lord Vishnu entered the heart of Vasudeva.
Vasudeva got a rare glow on his face which shined like adityas (Lord Surya).
The total appearance of Vasudeva captivated the attention of everyone.
Slowly the extraordinary glow transformed on to Devaki, Lord Sriman Narayana
entered the womb of Devaki. The whole prison started illuminating in her
radiance. Vasudeva amazed to see his wife in her new form. The news
arrived in the ears of Kamsa too. Kamsa horrified at the new development
in the life of Devaki and Vasudeva. His demonic natures prompted to kill
Devaki and the embryo, but the second thought stopped to commit such a sin
which has no consensus at all. He was mentally tortured and terrified by
the thought of the arrival of the eighth child. The thought of arrival of
cause for his death made him restless and haunting illusion of the child
followed him wherever he goes. He completely lost peace of mind.
All the
deities and sages – Lord Brahma, Lord Shiva, Maharishi Narada accompanied with
Maharishi Veda Vyasa approached Devaki and Vasudeva in the prison,
in order to welcome the arrival of Lord Sriman Narayana as Lord Krishna on the
Earth. All the deities and sages offered prayers with folded hands and elegized the glories of the Supreme Lord.
They consoled Devaki and Vasudeva that the child born would be the cause for
death of Kamsa. They also informed about the purpose of arrival of their
divine child and an incarnation of Lord Vishnu in order to protect entire world
and re-establish the righteousness on the Earth. They blessed Devaki and
Vasudeva and left to their heavenly Abodes
