I happened to read a crisp mail from Sri.Ramalingam, regarding the Visit to Holy land Kasi and the temples one should not miss to visit.
Varahi Mandir in Tripura Bhairavi Ghat - Nepali Mandir - Rajarajeshwari Mandir - Bahulamukhi Mandir - Sankatamata Mandir - Manikarnikeshwar. These temples can be visited early in the morning and have holy dip in Manikarnika Ghat. Another significant event is Ganaga Maha Harathi in Dasa Ashwamedha Ghat in the evening 6.30 PM.
Kalabhairavar Mandir - Vishwanatha Mandir - Annapurneshwari Mandir - Vishalakshi Mandir - Kalika Mandir - Thundi Ganapathy Mandir. These temples can be visited either in the morning or in the evening. The Saptharishi Pooja which held in Vishwanatha Mandir is one of most important rituals in the evening. Whoever wishes to perform the pooja should get their tickets booked in advance.
These are the Local temples: Kedar Mandir, Chinthamani Ganapathy Mandir, Tara Mandir, Sadasiva Kali Mandir, Adi Durga Mandir, Sankata Mochan Mandir and Gowdi Matha Mandir. The final rites (Pithru Karma) can be performed in Gaya or Kasi. It is believed that Pithru Karma done in Manikarnita Ghat is the most promising one. And importantly, the holy dip in Allahabhad Sangamam/Triveni Sangamam is most rewarding.
