Srimad Bhagavatam - Sapthama Skandam - Chapter Eight describes the glory of Sri Narasimha.

Maharishi Veda Vyasa illustrated the horrendous sight of Sri Narasimha in the slokas - 20/21/22/23.

The battle between Lord Narasimha and the demon King Hiranyakaship continued for sometime. At the end of the fierce battle between the Good and Evil, Lord Narasimha gets hold of Hiranyakashipu with his swrod like sharp nails.   Hiranyakaship was quivering with the throbbing pain.  Lord Narasimha with an intention to protect the boons already provided by Lord Brahma to the demon, Sri Narasimha put him on his lap and opted to be seated on a place neither inside nor outside of the palace,   neither in the sky nor on the Earth, neither on a day nor in the night.   Sri Narasimha pierced the chest of Hiranyakashipu with long sword like nails, which was known for neither a living nor a non living thing.

The terrorizing scene made everyone to stay away from Lord Narasimha, He continued his search for looking for the prey with the fireball like eyes.  Once the three worlds were under the custodian of Hiranyakashipu was undergoing his harassments.  At the end, it completely got relieved from the clutches of the demon.  The most pleased deities showered flowers on Sri Narasimha on this happiest occasion.  The celestial dancers and singers performed to the tune.  Lord Brahma, Lord Indra, Lord Rudra, Rishis, Maruths, Prajapathis, Celestial Dancers and Singers, Yakshas, Sunandhan, Kumudhan and all the deities were  eulogized the glory Lord Narasimha.

Lord Brahma praised the glory of Lord Narasimha:

 Nathosmya Nanthaya Durantha Shakthaye
Vichitra Veeryaya Pavithra Karmaney
Vishwasya Sarga Sthithi Samyaman Gunai:
Swaleelaya Sandhathey Vyayathmaney

Lord Rudra praised Lord Narasimha, ' Oh Lord! You took the fierce form which was preserved to be  revealed at the time of deluge.  You adopted this form   as Narasimha to kill a powerless demon in order to save your ardent devotee.  Lord, we request you to leave your uncontrollable anger and bless your devotee - Prahalada.

Lord Indra, Rishis and all the deities continued praising the glory of  Lord  Narasimha.

Jaya Jaya Narasimha !!

Jai Sriman Narayana !!
