Sri Kurma Jayanthi !! Part II !!

Jai Sriman Narayana !!

Lord Vishnu emerged out of the sea as Dhanwanthari with the divine nectar of Immortality.  After seeing the Ambrosia, the Demons diplomatically snatched away the divine nectar from the hands of Sri Dhanwanthari and greedily started to fight amongst them.  They continued their quarrel for some time.  As previously instructed by Lord Vishnu, the deities kept self-possessed and maintained strict calmness on the scene.

Soon, there arrived a beautiful mesmerizing woman walking towards the demons. At the enchanting unraveling beauty, at her attractive physical features the demons stood dumbfounded.  The beautiful woman moved amongst the demons gracefully with her heavy jeweled attire and the demons without uttering a single word transferred the Jar of Ambrosia to the woman.   They requested the woman to serve the divine nectar.  As instructed by the beautiful woman - Mohini one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu, the demons and deities seated in two rows.  Mohini with her graceful movements started to serve the Ambrosia to the deities.  She made it possible that, not a single drop was served to the demons.  The demons realized the foul play and also came to know that the beautiful woman was none other than Lord Vishnu Himself, they turned violent and started a fierce battle with the deities.  Mohini disappeared from the sight immediately.

In the fierce battle between Deities and demons continued.  Finally, the deities won the battle and regained their glory and powers.

Thus, Lord Vishnu re-installed the righteousness and protected who sought refuge in Him.
