Vishwaroopa Adhivyadhi Harana Sri Baktha Anjaneyar Swamy Temple !!

Jai Sriman Narayana !!

This is one of the temples we never forget to visit during our yearly holidays to India.  Fortunately, we have made it regular from 1996 onwards.  Whenever I make quick trips to India, this is one of the temple easily approachable for me.   There is one important thing I have to mention, I have never returned from this temple empty handed.   The on-going prasadam distribution round the clock can be seen only in this temple I believe.   Our driver sab is very confident to drive through  narrow gallies of Nanganallur.  Many a times, we ended up in wrong gallies and wander through the entire  market places of Nanganallur.  Whatever happens our driver sab was one of the coolest men never bothered about anything.   We would always enjoye our ride thoroughlly, thereby I could make my simple shoppings  going on.  During this trip also I have mananged to rush into  'Rasi' and a few more.  The interesting thing  I bought during rush & shop was the vegetable cutter with its brand name 'Anjali'.

Vishwaroopa Adhivyadhi Harana Sri Baktha Anjaneya Swamy Temple is situated just 5 km away from Chennai Anna International Airport.  It is easily accessible from the Palavanthangal suburban railway Station.  The main deity Sri Baktha Anjaneya is 32 feet tall facing West.   There is  a vast praharam out of the Sanctum Sanctorum providing space for the devotees to pay offerings to Lord.   There is a  sannidhi for Sri Kothanda Rama,Lakshman, Sita, and Anjaneya on the north-west corner.    On the South-west corner exists the sannidhi for Lord Krishna with Rukmini & Sathyabama facing East.   These two sannidhis stands as a reminder of Sri Anjaneya's presence in both the Yugas (Thretha Yuga and Dwapara Yuga) and  in the two great epic Srimad Ramayan and Mahabaratha.   There are sannidhis for Lord Vinayaka, Nagadevatha and Sri Raghavendra.

Vishwaroopa Adhivyadhi Hara Sri Baktha Anjaneya Swamy Temple is one should not miss to visit.  The important festivals are : Hanumath Jayanthi (Dec - Jan), Sri Rama Navami (March -April), Gokulashtami (Aug - Sept) and Pavithrostavam to Lord Sri Rama, Lord Sri Krishna and Sri Anjaneya.
