out your mission in a diplomatic way, approached Hiranyaksha who was
frantically in search of you in the cosmic water which is up to his knee. Maharishi Narada praised Hiranyaksha’s valor,
simultaneously demeaning your prowess.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Maharishi Narada revitalized powerful Hiranyaksha
by describing your deceitful ways to get hold of mother Earth. It caused terror in Hiranyaksha, he went on
search for you with wild roar and meticulously followed the directions narrated
by Maharishi Narada. Ultimately
Hiranyaksha located you while you were rising up above the water with Mother
Earth.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, You were humiliated by Hiranyaksha were overlooked
by you, found Mother Earth was trembling with extreme fear at the tip of your
tusk, you positioned her firmly on the ocean with all your powers, consequently
you were prepared yourself to fight with the demon Hiranyaksha.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, The mighty Hiranyaksha armed with mace entered the
battle field and displayed his skills on you, the clattering sounds of the
maces echoed in the sky. All the deities
approached eagerly to witness the fierce battle, Lord Brahma appealed to you to
kill the demon Hiranyaksha before the dusk.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, during the fierce battle between you and
Hiranyaksha, your mace was knocked down by him.
Instantly, you have invoked the fierce weapon Sudharshana with a smile
on your face, the holy wheel which is well known for the elimination of demon
clan. Oh! Vibho, You looked mesmerizing
with that powerful holy wheel on your hands.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, , the most infuriated Hiranyaksha like Rudra threw
his trident on you, but it was ruined by your discus. With a mounted anger Hiranyaksha thrash you
with his fist and used illusionary powers upon you. Oh! Jaganmohanakari who is
the master of illusion, does it make any difference to you?

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, All those illusion created by Hiranyaksha were
disappeared by the power of your discus, Hiranyaksha was extremely agitated
attacked you with his heavy fists, at that point you have hit him hardly on his
back of the ear with your big finger toe.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, mighty Hiranyaksha was crushed under your feet,
spewing blood all over. Oh! Supreme
Lord, Sages and Rishis were eulogized your glories at the elimination of the
demon Hiranyaksha, their hearts was overflowing with joy and they continued to
praise you with sacred hymns.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Your skin are the Vedic Chants, your hairs are
Kusha/Dharbha grass, your eyes are ghee, your feet are the four priests, your
face is the spatula used for the sacrificial fire, your stomach is ida/vessel
which holds the ingredients of fire sacrifices, your tongue is the pot
contained Somaras. Oh! Parapurusha, your
ears are chamas/which holds the residual of the fire sacrifices, your valor is
Soma, Oh! Varada, provider of boon, your neck is ‘Upasath’ which is famously
known as the subsidiary rite of Yagna.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Oh! Madhuripo, you were pleased at the sacred hymns
eulogized by the Rishis and Sages, revealed your mesmerizing form of
unblemished splendor to them and retired to your Abode of Vaikundha. Oh! Vathalayapathey, I earnestly pray to
eradicate all our ailments.
