In this verse, Thiru
Manikkavasagar describes the quintessence of Lord Shiva of Thirupperunthurai
who is eulogized by Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma and they desired to be born on
Earth which was flourished by the eternal presence of Lord Shiva. Thiru Manikkavasagar praises the compassion
of Lord which is capable to provide salvation to His devotees and earnestly
requests Him to wake up.
