with the raw sand and worshipped Lord Shiva on this sacred land. In the meantime, a demon Thamasura was
born as crab due to his previous sinful deed also worshipped Lord to attain salvation. Lord Shiva was pleased at the devotion of the
crab and provided a space on the Linga sanctified by Lord Indra.
