Instantly, Mahaperiyava shrieked with a painful voice asking them to stop thrashing on the stone and informed them that it was a Linga not an ordinary stone.  The people assembled were astonished and shortly huge crowds of the people were gathered on that place and waited for the further divine instructions of Sri Mahaperiyava.  Shortly Mahaperiyava took holy dip and engrossed in oblations.  The people assembled were anxiously waited for the command of Jagadguru,  Mahaperiyava mellifluously started to speak, well-informed them that it was an  idol of Lord Ardhanareeshwara and advised the senior most people to construct a small temple to perform ritual and worship Lord on regular basis.  Finally, the compassionate Jagadguru blessed them that this place will flourish with the grace of Lord.  Shortly, a small worship place was constructed and the daily rituals were carried out at the advice of Sri Mahaperiyava.  Worship of Lord Ardhanareeswara in this temple would provide the blessings of Lord as well as Jadaguru in abundance.
