Jai Sriman Narayana !!

Varaha Puranam describes the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu as Varaha (Wild Boar) in order to save Earth (Bhumi Devi) from the clutches of the demon Hiranyaksha.  The mighty demon Hiranyaksha abducted Mother Earth and hidden in Rasathala (under the Ocean).   Thus, he put an end to Creation.  At the request of Lord Brahma, Lord Sriman Narayana took the form of a wild boar and plunged into the sea.  Lord Varaha had fierce battle with the demon and  saved Lord Prithvi from Rasathala.

Lord Prithvi had the following queries in her mind, she requests Lord Varaha to explain them in detail.

·        How does the ‘Creation’ process begin in each Kalpa?
·        What is deluge?
·        How do you preserve the creation?
·        In which order the Yuga begins and the calculation of the same?
·        What was the purpose of incarnation of Lord Vishnu in each Yugas?

Lord Prithvi requests Lord Varaha to enlighten her with the answers of the above queries.  After listening to Lord Prithvi, Lord Vishnu burst into laughter.   Lord Prithvi was perplexed at the sight in his wide opened mouth, the whole Universe, deities and the living beings were visible in there.  She bewildered at this sight and trembled with fear.  In order to eliminate the fear in Her, Lord Varaha transformed himself in to Lord Vishnu in His reclining posture with Sri Mahalakshmi in the Milky Ocean.    Lord Prithvi delighted at the divine appearance of Lord Varaha and praised the glory of him.
