I happened to read a mail regarding the holy trip to the sacrosanct place 'Kashi' .  The reproduced below is an article written by Mr. Ram and his travelling experiences to this holy land.  I am sure, this would be very useful for all of us who are really intend to take up a journey to 'Varanasi'.

The next day morning Sekar Sastrigal came to inform the day's itinerary. Seeing our discomfort, he was also extremely concerned. It was Hiranya Srardham, Punyaka Vachanam and other rituals on Day 2 at Kasi. This event took place at Sekar Sastrigal's residence. We completed the rituals safely and went back to Ashram where we had our lunch.

After 2 hours of sleep we got up and dressed in semi-formal attire (Veshti / Podavai) to the temples. It is surprising that such famous temples are in small 'gallis' / narrow roads. Mom also was there to have darshan of Anna Poorneswari .We had a good darshan of all other deities around Anna Poorneswari. From there we reached Kasi Viswanathar temple.

We were waiting to have a Darshan all along...! The one, entire World is waiting to have Darshan of Lord Kasi Viswanathar. We also had the Darshan of Dundi Ganapathy.   From Kasi Viswanathar temple, we went to have a Darshan of Goddess Kasi Visalakshi. There were people from some madam chanting vedic hymns. All of them looked like Sanyasins. The Darshan of Kasi . We had darshan of Karpagambal at Mylai. .

On the next day we were to travelling to Gaya by early noon.  On the very next day morning we set off again to Shivala Ghat for some more exciting experience...!

(To be continued...!)
