Sri Vishnu Sahasramam , the  glorious 1008 Names of Sri Mahavishnu.

This entire compiling was done after the Mahabharata war by Maharishi Veda Vyas for the queries raised by the righteous King Yudhishtira.  It occurs in Anusasana parva of the great epic Mahabharatha.  Bhishma  narrates, chanting the names of the lord is one of the  superior Dharmas (righteousness) and  by this one gets released from all the miseries and sins.

 

Every Name of Sri Vishnu has a meaning to it; quite apart - the phonetic vibrations produced by chanting each Name known as "Nama :" and the chain of names known as "Namavali" produces  fantastic vibrations that are very essential for humans knowledge and wisdom. The phonetic sound and  vibrations provides special effects to  the  chanter and the listener as well,  it is one of the  very well established  fact by the eminent scholars.  Whoever recites the glorious thousand and eight names of Lord Vishnu attains liberation from the worldly bondages.

 

The chanting the glories of Lord Vishnu not only strengthens the brain neuron chips but also emits the brain wave at very conducive limits that can reverberate the energies into one's own body. Besides, the thought and thinking process of a person can also be regulated to divine path.

Now a days people face innumerous problems, miseries, misfortunes etc to face them with courage and come out with success there is no other medicine except recitation of Lord's glories. The various Sastras have indicated that Sahsranama Japa works as cure & remedy for various illnesses.

·         Vaidya Sastra illustrate various illnesses are cured by recitation of Sri Vishnu sahsranama.                               

·         Mantra Sastra illustrate those who seek progress in career, promotions, education, and various aspirations, achieve the same by recitation of Sri Vishnu sahasranama.     

·         Jyotisha Shastra illustrate that for difficulties/ problems arising out of various Dasha Bukti , recitation of Sri Vishnu Sahsranama is the only solution.

In the Phalasruthi it is mentioned that one who recites this sahasranamam of Lord  Vishnu and  one who listens to it  will have the blessings of Lord .  In all  Dharama Sastras of the great Sages and Alwars describes the significance of recitation of Sri Vishnu Sahasranama.   Moreover, various  Sampradayas  and  Acharyas have always highlighted the importance of  chanting Sri Vishnu Sahasranama.

Our main focus is to make the younger generation understand   every ritual and practices our great Sampradaya so that the new generation understands the values and continues to follow the Vedic principles to lead a happy, purposeful and glorious life.
