Brahma Vaivarta Puranam !! Sri Radha Kalyanam Part IV !!

Jai Sriman Narayana !!

Radhey Krishna !!

The most pleased Sri Radha Rani advised Lord Brahma to ask for a boon.  Lord Brahma desired for the perpectual devotion at the Lotus Feet of Sri Radha Krishna.  Lord Brahma had begun arrangements to perform the celestial wedding of the divine couple.  He seated between them and created sacrificial fire with a prayer to Supreme Lord and recited the mantras.  The Father of the Vedas bowed down His head with respect and circumambulated Sri Radha Rani, Lord Krishna and the sacred for fire seven times.  Sri Radha Rani was seated next to Lord Krishna, Her hands were placed on Krishna's and Sri Krishna chanted the seven Vedic mantras.  The knower of Veda placed Sri Radha Rani's hand on Krishna's chest and vice versa and the couple recited the Vedic mantras.  Sri Radha Rani placed knee length of Parijatha flower garland around Krishna's neck and vice versa.  The divine couple seated next to Lord Brahma holding their hands together and recited five Vedic mantras. Lord Brahma performed 'Kanyadhanam' and placed her hands on Krishna's.  The celestial Dancers and singers were performed and deities showered flowers on the newly wedded couple.  Lord Brahma received eternal faith on the Lotus Feet of Sriman Narayana as Guru Dakshina and left to Sathya Loka.

When the divine couple was left alone, Sri Randha Rani fixed her eyes on the captivating beauty of Krishna with amazement and shyly covered her beautiful face.  Sri Radha Rani was tormented by the arrows of Kamadeva and approached Sri Krishna to His flower couch.  Sri Radha Rani nervously smeared sandal, kumkum, anguru and musk at Lord Krishna's forehead and chest.  The most affectionate Sri Radha Rani served Lord with honey and nectar in a beautiful jeweled cup.  She offered him betelnut scented with camphor and spices.  It was Sri Krishna's turn to smear her forehead with sandal, kumkum, anguru and musk and served Sri Radha Rani with nectar like betel nuts scented with camphor and spices half chewed.  Sri Radha Rani accepted the 'Thamboolam' (half- chewed betel nuts) from Krishna with great love and respect.  Lord Krishna - The Supreme Lord was tormented by Kamadeva and pretended that He was still having perfect control over all His senses.  The Supreme Lord who is unconquerable finally accepted His failure to Lord Kamadeva.  The bride and the bridegroom took pleasure in their wonderful and enigmatic moments and the couple spent their most breathtaking taking moments in each others hand.  Does Krishna require any explanations for performing Rasa Leela? Lord Krishna - as a learned scholar of Kama Rasa took Sri Radha Rani into ecstacy.   During the wondrous moments they had stolen each others favorites, Sri Radha Rani had stolen Sri Krishna's Flute and Sri Krishna forcibly grabbed Sri Radha Rani's jewel mirror.  Their gorgeous garments made of ornaments of precious jewels were crushed at the supreme ecstasy.   Their heavenly hours of enjoyment continued and Sri Radha Rani was beautifully decked by Lord Krishna.  None of the   Gopis or Vishwakaramas could beautify her in such a way Sri Krishna gracefully ornamented Sri Radha Rani.  When it was Sri Radha Rani’s turn to decorate the Lord, instantly Krishna abandoned His youthful form and transformed into a hungry, frightened and crying infant of Nandaji.

Radhey Krishna !!

Jai Sriman Narayana !!
