Brahma Vaivarta Puranam - Chapter fifteen describes the celestial marriage of Sri Radha Rani with Lord Krishna.
One day Nandaji - Foster father of Sri Krishna took his cow and calves to a forest in Vrindavan, along with his Little - Krishna. Nandji let his herds of cattle to drink water from the lake and he also drank a little to quench his thirst. He went to relax sat under a Banyan tree holding his Little Krishna close to his chest. The little child of Supreme Lord entrusted Yogamaya to form heavy clouds, darkened the forest with hurricane and it created a dismay in the forest. Nandaji was horrified at the sudden change of the climate. The thought of leaving behind the cattle in the wasteland and the thought of protecting the child from the thunder storm put Nandaji in a terrible state. Suddenly, the little child began to cry louder and louder, holding his father tightly.
At this moment, the most graceful Sri Radha Rani appeared before them. She was walking enchantingly and more elegant than the Kanjana Birds and Swans. Her ever beautiful face resembles the autumn moon. Her glittering eyes were more beautiful than the Lotus flower; her beautiful eyelashes were coated with black Kajal. Her nose reminds beak of the king of the birds and well decorated with rings of pearls. The beauty of her ear and earrings stole the splendor of the mid-day sun. The beauties of her lips were like the ripped Bimba fruits. The beauty of her teeth was similar to finely arranged precious pearls. Her smile reminds the splendor of the jasmine flowers just beginning to bloom. Her beautiful forehead was decorated with Sindura. Her cheeks look more beautiful with the falling of curly locks of hair. Each and every part of her body revealed the gorgeousness and the loveliness of her youth. Her neck, shoulders, chest, hands, waist, thighs, legs and feet revealed her dazzling appearance. Every part of her body was covered with the finest jewelry, precious pearls and Gems. Her fair complexion stole the beauty of the Champa Flowers. It was impossible to describe her majesty in a few lines. She gracefully approached Little Krishna.

Sri Radha Rani's presence created the radiance of more than ten million Suns illuminating at a time from ten directions in the Universe. Nandaji was more delighted at her presence. He bowed his head and eyes filled with tears praised the glory of Sri Radha Rani. Nandaji already learnt from Sage Garga about the reason of Krishna’s birth in Gokul - Vraja along with Sri Radha Rani. Nandaji realized at once that the little Krishna was none other than the Supreme Lord - Sri Mahavishnu. Sri Radha Rani is the dearest among Sri Krishna's companions and dearer than Sri Mahalakshmi. Nandaji pleaded Sri Radha Rani to keep his son with Her and requested to return him once her desires were fulfilled. Nandaji handed over the crying child to Sri Radha Rani, she took Him with boundless joy. Sri Radha Rani informed Nandaji not to disclose the secret all that happened because of his pious deeds in several births. The most pleased Sri Radha Rani offered a boon to Nandaji. Nandaji humbly requested for perpetual devotion at all times in the Lotus Feet of Sri Krishna and Sri Radha Rani. He also revealed their desire to be nearer to Sri Krishna and Sri Radha Rani forever. Sri Radha Rani blessed them with the boon of perpetual devotion to Lord in their hearts.
