In this verse, Sri Andal and
group of ladies arrived in front of the house of a young maiden who was fast
asleep in her bed without the knowledge of dawn; she has sweet voice like
parrot. The young maiden quickly
responded to the call of the ladies and right away rushed on her feet to join
with the crowd enquiring about the number of ladies joined in the crowd. Sri Andal impatiently informs her to take
count of the women assembled and they are already delayed to worship Lord
Krishna, who won over the royal elephant Kuvalayapeedam and the demons
Mushitika & Chanura.
