Jai Sriman Narayana !!
In this verse, Sri Andal
describes the unresponsiveness of a young maiden who was promised to wake up
the entire ladies of Ayarpadi in the early hours of dawn to worship Lord; surprisingly
she was fast asleep in her bed. Sri
Andal and group of ladies assembled before the house of young maiden and inform
her about the arrival day break and blooming lotuses and Ambal due to the rays
of sun. Sri Andal enquires have not
heard of the reverberation of the divine conch from the nearest temple? The preceptors are already on their way to
have holy dip and start their austerities.
Sri Andal insists the young maiden to wake up and join in the worship of
Lord, sing praising the glories of Lord Krishna who holds the divine conch and
discus in his hands.
