Thiruchengode is one of the 275 Thevara Shivasthalam of Lord Shiva located in Thiruchengode, Erode -Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu. This is one of the significant temples of Lord Shiva located on the hill top resembles red in color positioned at the height of 1900ft from the ground level.  One has to climb nearly 1250 steps to reach this temple.  There are facilities made to reach the hill by car or walk through the wide and comfortable roads. In this temple Lord Shiva & Goddess Sri Parvati is worshipped as Ardhanareeswara, a self-manifested idol of 6ft.

This temple remains open from 6.00AM to 12.00PM in the morning and 5.00PM to 7.00PM in the evenings.
