as an aspect of your essence was captured by Shambarasura. Shortly, Pradhyumna killed Shambarasura and
returned with his wife Rathi to the city.
Pradhyumna taken away the fortunate daughter of Rukmi and married
her. This couple had a son Aniruddha,
married to the virtuous Rochana, granddaughter of Rukmi. There was a grand dice game was organized as a
part of the celebration of the wedding, a conflict arose between Balarama and
Rukmi, eventually Rukmi was killed.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Banasura who has thousands of powerful arms and son
of Bali was a passionate devotee of Lord Shiva.
He had a virtuous daughter Usha who was not seen your grandson Aniruddha
before in all her life, she met Aniruddha in her dream and underwent severe
pangs of separation from him.

away Aniruddha from your palace by using her Yogic powers.

her private chamber. Banasura, zealous
devotee of Lord Shiva came to know about it and he imprisoned Aniruddha. Maharishi Narada informed about the
happenings to you, in a rage you have attacked the city of Shonithapura with
the help of Yadhus.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Lord Shiva, Consort of Shivaa, dearest daughter of
Mountain/Shailapriya was the protector of the city Shonithapuram, Bhagavan Lord
Shiva with his army of Bhootha Ganas intervened the army of Yadhus without any
fear. The mighty Banasura along with
Yayudhana and Guha entered in a battle with Pradhyumna. And you have entered in a vicious battle with
Lord Shiva, destroyer of Tripura.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, The army of
Lord Shiva defended against all the weapons, ultimately they fallen unconscious
at your weapon, Lord Shiva’s Bhootha Ganas fled in fear out of the city of
Pramatha crushing all the leaders.
Skandha/Guha was defeated by the flower arrow/Kusuma Sharabanou of
Pradhyumna. Kumbhanda, minister of
Banasura was smashed like a new pot by Balarama.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Banasura entered the battlefield with five hundreds
of bows and arrows, soon they were broken and returned unsuccessful. The obsession towards Jwarapathi came out of
the heads were tormented by the fever/passion towards you, enlightened devotees
of Lord Shiva offered liberties to your admirers whoever praised your glories,
even the enlightened Rudras act ferociously due to the excessive influence
of Thamasic qualities.

Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Banasura vehemently returned with various weapons
due to his ignorance was made without any associate and you have cut off his
many hands. Soon, Shankara eulogized your
glories and requested to leave Banasura with two hands. In this way, Banasura was freed from the fear
of death and became passionate devotee of you.
Afterwards, you have returned to your city with Aniruddha and Usha.

Supreme Lord Supreme Lord Guruvayurappa, Oh! Vibho, Your incarnation as Lord
Krishna excels all those manifestations of you.
Lord Indra was defeated by you number of times, Lord Varuna was defeated
when he was taken away Nandagopa, Lord Yama was conquered when he was taken
away the life of your Preceptor’s son, you have defeated Lord Agni, Lord Varuna’s
friend by swallowing him during the forest fire, Lord Brahma was defeated when
he was stolen the cowherds and the cattle, finally Lord Shiva was defeated
during the fierce battle with Banasura.

and turned into a chameleon was purified by you and send him to your supreme
Abode. In this way you have instructed your
