Jai Sriman Narayana !!
Oh! Supreme Lord Krishna! You are
the most charming and divine personality in the Universe/Lord Bhuvana Sundara,
I have listened to the glorious myths of you which enters through the ears and
well capable to eradicate the anguish of body and mind. Oh! Lord Achyutha, my unabashed mind dwells
on your enthralling form, not in a position to retrieve my eyes from that marvelous
form of you which bestow perpetual bliss.
Oh! Supreme Lord Mukunda ! A
beautiful young maiden who has steadfast mind, virtuous, intelligent, and born
in a prominent clan and has fair status and wealth, and whose upbringing is equivalent
to some extent of yours wouldn’t get attracted to you? Oh! Supreme Lord Krishna, you have the
resemblance of a lion in human form and you are capable to lure the minds of all
the living beings on Earth.
Oh! Lord Ambujaksha, who has the
eyes like lotus petals and provider of boons, I have assumed you as my husband
in mind and placed my body and soul at your lotus feet, therefore I belong to
you, I earnestly pray to accept me. Oh!
Supreme Lord Krishna, don’t let Shishupala, King of Chedi to have possession of
me, otherwise it would be like a royal feast which was saved for the
consumption of Lion pilfered by the wild jackal.
Oh! Supreme Lord Krishna, You are
the Lord of the Universe, worshipped by me with utmost devotion and dedication,
I have been performing virtuous deeds like creating ponds and lakes, performing
fire sacrifices, charity to the deserving people and offerings to Vedic
Brahmins on auspicious occasions, visited pilgrim places, I have venerated
Brahmins, deities and Preceptor. Thus, I
earnestly request you to come and take possession of me by accepting my hands;
it should not get stained by the evil act of Shishupala.
Oh! Supreme Lord Krishna, you are
unconquerable, I earnestly pray to come to Vidharbha at the earliest, without
the knowledge of anyone. You should destroy
Shishupala and his warriors with your valor and take possession of me like the approach
of Rakshasas, as a reward to your valor.
Oh! Supreme Lord Krishna, I shall
suggest you with a suitable method to enter the Palace of Viharbha and take
possession of me without causing any harm to the lives of my family. On the eve of marriage, there will be a grand
procession of bride towards our family deity, the temple of Goddess Girija to
worship her.
Oh! Supreme Lord Krishna, the
deities like the consort of Goddess Uma will be anxiously looking forward to
bathe in the dust rose from your lotus feet; hence their flaws will be
removed. If I am not fortunate enough to
get the protection of your lotus feet, I will kill myself through severe
austerities in this life; will be born hundreds of life striving for your
association.
