Jai Sriman Narayana !!
In this verse, Sri Andal
pronounces the meritorious rewards to the devotees who learn & recite
‘Thiruppavai’. The devotees would be
rewarded with the choicest benediction of the Supreme Lord and His
Consort. The devotees would be blessed
with abundance of piousness similar to Sri Andal and the young maidens of
Ayarpadi. Sri Andal generously praises
the Supreme Lord Vishnu who persuaded the deities and demons to churn the milky
ocean for the elixir of nectar of immortality to restore the glories of the
deities and various personifications of Lord during this process. Lord
Krishna who’s beautiful face has the resemblance of Moon was venerated with all
the finest jewelries by Sri Andal and the young maidens of Ayarpadi and
eulogized His glories shall remain in the eternal service to Lord. Whoever recites the enthralling Tamil poem
consists of thirty verses composed by Godha, daughter of Bhattar
Piran/Periyalwar with utmost devotion and without any fail would attain eternal
bliss and remain in the association of the Supreme Lord & His consort.
