Jai Sriman Narayana !!
Thiruppirudhi is
one of the 108 Divya Desams of Lord Vishnu located in Chamoli, Uttarakhand.
In this temple Sri Adi Sankara sanctified the idol of Lord
Narasimha which is more than 1200 years old. Surprisingly, the left wrist
of the idol of Lord Narasimha is getting thinner day by day and it is believed
that once this phenomenal comes to an end the route to Badarikashram will be
closed forever by a landslide. Lord Vasudeva shrine is just 30 yards away
from the main shrine of Lord Narasimha, which is one of the prominent temples of
Lord Vishnu here. The idol of Lord Vasudeva carved out of a black stone
which has the height of 6’ft was consecrated by Sri Adi Sankara. During
the time of extreme winter, the idol of Lord Badrinarayana moved Joshimath to
carry out the daily rituals.
